Placement

Where it goes

Center-back waistband clip, approved spine placement, spike-pod roadmap, or baton practice sleeve concept.

Coach value

Why it matters

Track coaches get rep windows, acceleration shape, fade context, and coach-marked split notes beside the motion trace.

Truth line

What it is not

Training-grade movement context only. HyperPulse does not make medical, injury, concussion, safety, return-to-play, college-placement, funding, eligibility, or official-record claims.

Feature / Function / Benefit

17 metrics for Track & Field.

What the labels mean

These labels keep the site honest while the product moves from prototype to field validation.

Measured

Directly read from the motion sensor or session clock.

Estimated

Calculated from motion patterns; calibration and placement matter.

In Testing

Validation workflow or roadmap metric that still needs field testing.

Questions parents and coaches ask.

Direct answers make the site easier for people and easier for AI/search engines to understand without misquoting us.

Can HyperPulse measure official track splits?

Not from the IMU alone. HyperPulse supports practice split context when paired with coach markers, video sync, or imported laser/gate timing. Official timing stays with approved timing systems.

Can the sensor go inside a relay baton?

The first test should use a practice sleeve or collar, not a competition baton claim. Metal batons can hurt Bluetooth range and make charging harder.

What is baton mode?

Baton mode is a practice workflow for exchange rhythm, baton motion, hesitation, and coach-reviewed notes.
